North Texas

The regional office for the North Texas region is located in Greenville, 45 miles northeast of Dallas on Interstate 30. From Greenville services are provided to over 50 consumers in several areas. Consumers are served in Greenville , Tawakoni, Terrell, Crandall, Sulphur Springs, Pittsburg , Mount Pleasant , Paris and Sherman. We have had great success providing services to individuals with special needs. Due to our wide range of experience we have been able to provide services to individuals who are medically fragile as well as individuals with Autism. Our level of expertise enables us to also provide services in specialized home environments for individuals with challenging behavior.

Our RN, who is our Health Services Supervisor, oversees our nurses in Greenville and Sherman. The nurse in Sherman also serves as Program Coordinator for our consumers in that area. We have two Case Managers with combined experience of 25+ years working with individuals with disabilities. One of our Case Managers is a Licensed Social Worker. She has worked with Lubbock Regional MHMR Center and with children's programs and has vast experience in the field of developmental disabilities. Our other Case Manager has worked at a private residential facility for individuals with mental health issues. Both of these individuals have been with Community Access for over 5 years.

We have been an ICF/IDD provider for 14 years in Greenville. We have three 6-bed group homes. Each of our homes are three bedroom, two bath. One is an all female home. We also have a male home, and one coed home. We serve all Levels of Needs. Openings occur periodically. If you are seeking ICF/IDD services, please contact us. Our consumers participate in Special Olympics, bowling, Arc functions and various community activities. Day habilitation services are provided through a variety of providers throughout the region. Services are provided in Greenville by Community Workforce of Texas. CWFT was founded by Laura Redman, CEO of Community Access.

Community Access provides HCS services throughout North Texas. Our consumers live in a variety of settings including homes we provide, their own family homes, foster care settings and independently in apartments. Currently we have residential homes in Greenville and Sherman , and we provide foster care and in-home support in all other areas.
